Book A Shoot

How it works

Booking, without the back and forth

Six steps from “I need a photographer” to photographs on your phone. No unanswered DMs, no guessing at prices.

  1. 01

    Search with real filters

Filter by category, city, price and the exact date you need. Every photographer on the platform has published packages, if there is no price, there is no listing.

  2. 02

    Compare actual work

A profile cannot go live until it has a cover image, a bio, at least eight portfolio images and a real package. Every profile you see is complete.

  3. 03

    Send a booking request

Pick a package and a date you can see is free. Tell them where, how many people, and anything unusual. It takes under a minute.

  4. 04

    They accept or decline

Within 72 hours. A request that goes unanswered expires automatically rather than leaving you hanging, you can plan around a decline, but not around silence.

  5. 05

    Contact details unlock

Once accepted, you both get each other’s details and a written record of the date, package, price and location that was agreed.

  6. 06

    Shoot, then review

After the shoot, either of you marks it complete. Only clients with a completed booking can leave a review, which is why the ratings here mean something.

Questions

Common ones

Does it cost anything to book?
No. Browsing and booking are free for clients. You pay the photographer directly at the rate published on their profile.
Why can’t I see phone numbers?
Contact details stay private until a booking is accepted. It keeps photographers free of unqualified enquiries, and it means every conversation starts with an agreed date and price rather than a negotiation.
What if the photographer declines?
You will know within 72 hours, and nothing is charged. Your search filters are saved in the URL, so you can go straight back to your shortlist.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Either party can cancel a confirmed booking with a reason. Cancellations are recorded, and a photographer who cancels often will show it on their profile.
How do I know a portfolio is really theirs?
Verified photographers have had their identity and business checked by us. The badge means we checked something specific, and we will always say what.
