Terms of Service

Book A Shoot is a marketplace that connects clients with photographers in Nigeria. We provide the platform on which you discover each other and agree the terms of a shoot. We are not a party to the agreement between a client and a photographer, and we do not employ photographers.

You must be at least 18 to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done through your account. Give us accurate information and keep it current.

An account is either a client account or a photographer account. The type is chosen at signup and cannot be changed afterwards.

A booking request is an offer. It becomes an agreement between the client and the photographer only when the photographer accepts it. An unanswered request expires after 72 hours.

The agreed date, package, price and location shown on an accepted booking are the record of what was agreed. Neither party can alter them afterwards.

Payment is arranged directly between the client and the photographer. We do not currently process payments and do not hold funds.

Either party may cancel a confirmed booking and must give a reason. Cancellations are recorded. A photographer who cancels frequently will have that reflected on their public profile.

You may only publish photographs that you took or that you have the right to display. You must honour the packages and prices you publish. Publishing another photographer’s work as your own will get your account removed.

Only a client with a completed booking may leave a review, and only one per booking. Reviews are permanent, neither party can delete one. Either party may report a review for moderation.

Contact details are private and are revealed only when a booking is accepted. Attempting to circumvent this, or using the platform to harvest contact information, may result in removal.

Do not use Book A Shoot to harass anyone, to misrepresent who you are, to publish illegal content, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or to other people’s accounts.

You may delete your account at any time. Deleting removes your personal data, but anonymised records of completed bookings are retained because the other party relies on them.
